There is no chickening out now!
3900 miles (6240 km) from New York City

my saddle bags are waterproof!
and the sidecar works like a charne!
no problem to report, yesterday i had 250 miles (400km) on the snow... the
sidecar is very healthy and predictable and with no traffic around, it is
not stressfull...
i just love it.

Hubert,
be careful of the electric heat in the gloves. you can get a burn if your
hands are wet

yes, i already experience that in the past...
but interestingly enough, because my clothing is quite perfect, i do not wear
my heated socks or heated gloves. out of my 6 pair of gloves, i wear the lighter
i have.... the kind of deer skin with some white fur inside... the heated
grip and the shield do a good job. when i start at 10F in the morning, it's
about the limit but it's ok and then it warm up during the day
