the missing part of the gearbox...

...thank you to all of you... I HAVE IT!!!
My friend Georgio in Switzerland has one and it's on his way to me....
and all together i have found 4 of them, 1 in Germany, 1 in Holland, 1 in switzerland and one in USA
what a great world... it makes the all difference of traveling with internet.
in the past, it would have been only by phone call and be so much more difficult to communicate with all of you.
i should be able to move on from Whitehorse by the end of this coming week.
i will let you know, thank you again

Hubert

while fixing my sidecar...

..i am working on a new plan.... "Bear Hunting" here in Whitehorse, Yukon Canada.
I met 2 interesting guys who are good friends, together and for pleasure they go trapping on a 82 miles trail in winter. They also hunt at spring and fall all kind of animals... bear, moose, fox, caribou, wolf, ect... The best hunting season for bear is April because their fur is fully furnished at the end of the winter... one of this 2 guys (he is 27 years old) killed himself about 30 bears in his life ... So far, it looks good for me to go with them on a "bear hunting trip"

i received many questions by email about polar bear in the frozen North... the chief of the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) in Tuktoyaktuk told me that the last time they killed a polar bear in Tuk was just last year. When a polar bear approach, they try to scare him away.... but if he comes back, they shoot him to protect the population (1000). Tuktoyaktuk has many children playing outside in the cold snow and ice.

i'll keep you posted!
have a great week

Hubert
